MyInfo:
Olaf! Berserker! Girls think is sexy!
MyGoals:
Get better with a shield (and fighting in general), meet interesting (read: crazy) people, help the House of Einherjar grow into the well-oiled engine of destruction it has the potential to become.
MyBlurbs:
At Spring Wars, I'm pretty sure I interrupted some people mid-coitus with my drunken renditions of Tenacious D (yes, it was I!). I'm currently practicing for next event's drunken artist of the weekend: Stephen Lynch.
Fighter History:
Technically, I've been doing this sort of thing on and off for all my life. When I was a wee lad in elementary and junior high school, we used to play Sword Game, an off-the-cuff combat LARP/RPG where we'd go after each other with various household implements (our favorites: a sock balled up inside another sock to create a makeshift flail). In junior high it was Wood Wars, where we'd take pieces of scrap wood and swing 'em around at each other in the backyard. The college years brought the late and great Shogun, set in feudal Japan, a combat LARP that was a lot closer to what Belegarth is, only much, much smaller. So in a way, this game feels a lot like coming home.
Still, all these years behind a sword, and what do ya know? I still suck. I aim to change that this season.
