avatar Years ago I told myself that I am a terrible swordsman. 2 months ago I decided to do something about it. I asked good swordsmen for advicen and they told me to learn the basics. But where!? Where I ALWAYS learn the basics; from books! So I asked for the recommeneded literature, researched it online, and ordered from eBay. All simple. That is until eBay didn't properly update my shipping information and my precious books were sent 2000 miles away to my old barracks in Texas! After all this time I finally managed to get them sent back to me here in Des Moines and they arrived today.

So far I've only read bits and pieces of the large one (Im saving that for 2nd) and the smaller one I've read 2 chapters out of. Already I'm begining to understand the now obvious flaws of my style and why I'm as bad as I am. Later this month I intend to erect a pell in my backyard to practice on. My level of motivation is high right now but the amount of free time and the priority of my swordfighting is very low. Sacrafices must be made when life needs attention.

On a different note, I completed my 2nd week of work today and was given my very own Geek Squad badge. It's not a shiney police badge with an agent number on it, more of a gray ID card with a name and fingerprint spot. Hopefully I'll be getting my uniform so I can stop looking like some manager looking over the other agents shoulders and looking more like an employee who doesn't understand whats going on.

Well, thats about it for today. Not really anything important, and FAR from a warning of my new super awesome skill (since I dont have any). Eventually I'll get ahead, have less hours at work and more free time, and then I'll put some really interesting stuff up.

I've come to love the time I spend working in my realm, finding new ways to recruit people, making new friends, and planning events.  Lately, Bele-life has had to take a back seat to real life.  Real life is a pain in the ass.  I am currently in training to become a banker for the 4th largest bank in the world right now and have been doing nothing but studying for a series ofexams my job depends on for the last month and a half.

Last Sunday, we moved Wolfpack back to ISU's quad.  It went very well.  Lupus, a new member last year, is an RA now and brought what looked to me like half of his dorm floor.  Thanks to Sir Morpheus, Sir Fox, Squire Keichii, and Mekoot Davit we have a new stockpile of Loaner weapons and sheilds.  I was amazed when Sir Morpheus showed up with them.  They look great, and for once I wouldn't mind using the noob gear.  Hell it looks better than some peoples standard.

Sir Fox and Sir Kyrian have their training program that should go into effect next Sunday.  As a work in progress, I believe this will be an essential recruitment and retention tool.  Like every new thing, there are some things to work on and build towards but I believe that they are headed in the right direction.  I can't wait until we get it off the ground.

Last but not least, a Warlord's work is never done.  While juggling a full time job at Chase, which I drive to Peoria every day in order to work, I also am the current Warlord.  I am working on getting ISU to let us use the Horton Field house again for the Wolfpack Season Opener so we can set a date pleanty of time in advance for people to get off from work, trying to secure a winter fighting place, get advertisements printed out, get my student appointed representitives their jobs and get them communicating with our new RSO Faculty Advisor to name a few.

My life is just so busy right now, I need a second to step back and breath.  Sometimes I wish Belegarth could be real life, it would make things a lot more simple.  Oh well, these are the rants of a souless ginger kid and with that, I leave you to your thoughts.

Well nothing new to report today. I am going to Gencon tonight. I have contractors at my house re-doing my roof and siding the house while I am gone, so that will be interesting.

I have a new shield cover, that I am bring to practice before I leave for Gencon. It's pretty rad, I made it over the weekend while I was watching the browns game.

Something I would like to say, Their were private forums for the dumbest of speacial intrest groups, How could the populace not realize that the Officers had a private forum, I knew they did before I was an administrator on the old board. It would only make sense. I wasn't about to step on their toes then and now that I am acting as an officer it was designed to be a speacial place for the officers to talk about stuff before they addressed issues with war council. Their is an open forum for the Officers to talk to war council, it is called War Council. Their is an open forum for the War Council to talk to the Officers, it is called the War Council Forum. When the officers want to talk to each other about buisness they don't have a huge open meeting, they sit down and talk together about it so they can all be on the same page.
